In My Next Life I Want To Be A Gate Opener
In fact if I was young and strong I would apply right now. We drove all over the ranch checking out where the ditches are that the cows may fall in so John could pen them away from them. He has all the cattle in a safe place now but they don't have as much grazing area. We left with the intention of John calling the big boss of the project who told him to call about any problem and he would take care of it. As we went down the highway toward home we saw a truck with two men in it parked at the pipeline entrance across from the ranch so John pulled over to inform them he wasn't happy. They gave him a number of another foreman. They said they didn't know anything about the trenches as their only job was to open gates. Humm I wonder how much they pay. I will say the gaps are very wide and look very tight. John called the first man when we got home. John explained the problem and he said he knew exactly which piece of property and he remembered meeting John and said he would check it out and call him back TODAY. John didn't hear from him but John has two sisters who are long winded talkers and both called this afternoon soooo who knows?
