Traveling Boat

This boat has made a big circle without having a trailer. It was left by the farm house when a family of renters moved. Everytime John gets new renters he gives it away and when they move they don't take it. One renter took it to the stock tank and played around with it then left it there. The last bad renters broke the windshield and made it "worse for the wear" looking. These last renters have four big kids. It was gifted to them and they acted excited at the time but nothing was done. Yesterday when we fed the turtles it was across the tank and out of the water. I figured it would sit there but no, today it is again by the farm house. Kids must have some plan and that is good but me and the turtles are going to miss it. I used it to gauge how much it rained as to where the boat sat in or out of the water. It seemed the turtles would come from under the boat when I called them. Only three came to eat so I'm wondering if they are pouting.

Some folk even look a gift horse in the mouth. Now if John would get them a trailer for the boat, maybe........... but then who knows, he would probably have to tow it for them.

I can picture the turtles pouting with their lips pushed out. lol Strange how people react to a gift. You would think they would like the boat.

That boat is just like a ghost wandering around in an old house, looking for a friend.
