New Bulls Home And Company Here

We picked our Alaska company up in Seguin, Texas on the 12th and we've been on the go ever since. Today we visited some of the missions in San Antonio in my old neighborhood. We'll be taking them back to Seguin on Jan. 7th. I said I wasn't cooking a turkey for Christmas since they came down without asking if we had plans. Guess what? I cooked the next thing to a turkey. A very big chicken that was as big as a small turkey. It was one of John's great nephew's show chickens. I think he won some ribbons with it and it did taste good with all the trimmings. Now what are we going to do for Christmas? We talked of going to the dog races at Corpus Christi today but I vetoed that. Just too tired to go that far and get home late. I have to excuse myself sometime and take a short nap. John and his brother-in-law brought the new Brangus bulls home a few days ago and they are still in the pens to get located before he turns them out so they don't run off looking for thier mamas. I'm naming them Moe and Joe. They look just alike and are very tame. I took the company with me to feed the turtles one day but mostly they have to go without food as my seat in the old Ford Ranger is occupied by the brother-in-law for now. He likes to use my computer at night so I'm not online much. In case I don't talk to you all, wishing you a very merry Christmas.

I can totally relate with that hatred of getting home late. I have done far too much of that in the last month, and thank goodness it's over!

Your holiday season is certainly a busy one and you deserve those short naps! Have a wonderful Christmas!

Your Chicken sounds so good. I have a big turkey we got for free with our rewards card at the grocery. I told Joe I might make it for New years. Then we freeze it in different types, like soup or turkey and noodles and of curse sandwiches. Have a Merry Christmas and tell the brother in law to move.

Well - I am glad your company got in - and I hope you have a nice time with them. And if you don't come back for awhile - Merry Christmas!

Hi Paula,
I remember how you lost your seat to him last year and what was it that she kept turning the wrong way on your kitchen counter...maybe the toaster? Lol.
You and John should visit them in mid-summer.
Wishing my Texas friend a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
DD
