Announcing The Death Of Harvest Gold
Harvest Gold, the washing machine, was a beautiful lady, exact age unknown, daughter of Sears and Kenmore. She lived her life doing her household duty faithfully beside her husband Harvest Gold dryer who survives her. They lived several years in San Antonio before moving to the ranch in Charlotte, Texas for 14 months. Later moving to the town in south Texas where she passed away at 5 A.M. this morning. Her controls just could not move another round and her agitator had no energy left from the long years of washing everything from little girls dresses to mechanic work clothes to everything dirty. Harvest left a floor underneath with enough dirt to grow peanuts but when her replacement arrives Monday will be spic and span. Harvest will be sorely missed by all who knew her and depended on her talented ways of taking care of an appreciative family.
