Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

A Little Of This And A Little Of That About Animals But Not Cows For A Change
Remember the owl with babies in the tree behind my dentist office? It has raised so much interest in our town that they have announced a "Name The Mama Owl" contest. For some reason I couldn't get into their site, but my suggestion would have been Brushetta for Brush Country Dental Center and as in "we should brush out teeth after every meal". We didn't go to church last Sunday because of meeting my family for Mother's Day, but they told us we had an animal visitor, on the front row no less. When the secretary arrived to open the church she said she saw something and thought her nephew or his son who clean the church had left a coon skin cap on the pew. Then she realized it was breathing. She quickly closed the doors and called for help. The Cardinals have moved in with us. I think they have a nest or two in our trees. I've been careful to keep seed out and water in the bird bath. They are so beautiful, especially the males.

and i like your choice of name. :)
I love the Raccoon coming to church! OUCH! That is new.
The cardinals are beautiful, we see them all the time, but to me I was truly amazed by your Green Jay in Texas. That one blew my mind when I did get to see one.
Neat about the Owls...
