Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

Off To The Courthouse
No we're not in trouble. John is selling off another rent property and he likes for me to go along because of his hearing and sight difficulties. I think he could sell ice cubes to an eskimo. Now he only has one large duplex left besides the two houses he is leaving to his daughter. The duplex has history, the fourth generation is living there with the new baby. Years ago a couple bought it from him along with their son. Each paying half the payment. Along came a family spat and out moved son and family. On payment day couple thought they could still pay only half. Long story short they could have rented out the other half to make the payment but didn't want to. They let it go back to John and still lived there renting it. Now another son and family lives on that side and a grandson and family live in the orginal couples side since they have gone to their heavenly reward. Grandson has baby now which makes four generations of the same family. If orginal couple had continued buying it would have been paid for a long time ago.

wow, that family should have certainly bought it!
Too bad families can't get along! Hope your hubby sells what it is he is trying to sell.
I think I finally have it all straight. Glad you got it all straight. Is it still hotter than a fire cracker in Texas It is a good day here. Temps are warm but the humidity is lower. It seems a lot cooler.
It sounds like a soap opera.
That is good history of renters, that is for sure. I used to say everyone should own, but that is not true. Some folk would rather someone else keep the property up.
Seems like John has that trader blood. But he did tell me he was sorta tight with his money!
If we are smart we all will tighten up.
((HUGS))
Oh yes we did enjoy seeing your past home and the playhouse out back. I looked for the drilling rig, surely someone would have wanted to keep it there.(LOL)
That is really an interesting story. There's a lesson to be learned in there.
Isn't that something, 4 generations of renters! That's what I call a good stable income! John was pretty smart with his investments - I've taken notes along the way :)
Paula, if you will email me so I have your email addy, I will send you the link. I know you wouldn't make fun of me, and it really is hilarious how surprised I look at the end when I actually got through the song.
