Cozy Cozette

I just read over at Sandie's blog about Feline Friday going on at some blogs. I don't have time to figure it all out right now but it brought back memories of some of the cats who have owned us and we loved. Cozy Cozette was one of those girl cats who captured our hearts. We didn't set out to get her, she came to us from where I don't know. Cats seemed to do that to us. We always had at least one, sometime more. Cozy was sooo soft and lived in the house for the most part but could go out when she wanted. She was able to tell us when she needed to go out and she was clean with good manners. Rest in peace Cozy Cozette, we still think of you and remember you with fondness.

Awww, what a lovely tribute to your baby. I too have fond memories of cats that were embedded in my heart. They remain there too.

You need to put the link to this post in the linky so others will know you have a Feline Friday post. This post is more than purrfect for Feline Friday. :☺

Sandie I do have Susie. We've had her for years and I do write about her at times. She has used up so many of her lives, but I still think about special cats from the past too.

We have had a lot of cats over the years. Some lasted longer than others. We had to leave one behind when we moved because she wasn't there on moving day...and we went back looking for her and never found her....but she didn't stay at home much...probably adopted another family and just used us for hand-outs. lol We brought her daughter with us, but she was terrified when we brought her here and hid under the wood pile for days. Hubby finally decided to just take her back to our old neighborhood and let her fend for herself.

Hey! I, too, have a great aunt who lived in Temple.....I bet we ARE twins!!! :) Almost all my relatives lived here and some of them still do. We do have a connection here.

Sweet story. I knew a lady named Cozette, Yeah, she was called Cozy.

Funny how cats know YOU love them!!! Something in your nature!
LOve from NC too!

Cozy Cozette was adorable and I like her name. Cats are incredibly intelligent and much more affectionate than most people give them credit for. In my experience, female cats make better pets than male ones.

We've had quite a few cats around here, some inside/outside cats, mostly out in the barn. I lovedum' all but Tabby, Shadow, Tigger and Palmer were my favorites, even tho my sister, Mel, thought Palmer was the cat from hell. well, he didn't like her cigarette and would run right up her legs and slap it out of her mouth...smart kitty.

Our pets mean the world to us be it cats or dogs or maybe a pet pig??, birds, you name it I guess some things are pets I would not have even thought of. Joe got a whole new unit put in, pacemaker defib and battery. Things went well but waiting in a hospital is the pits. Wears you out to just be there.
