have never heard of them!
I never heard of them either.
pie melon~hmm, sounds like if they are a good base for jams, they must be juicy and have pectin of some sort....very interesting. I wonder how to tell when they are ripe?
A curious fruit
I've never heard of pie melons before and I don't remember ever seeing any.
My computer often does weird things. It has a mind of its own.
Would not try to eat pie melon, but they are striped like a melon.
Looks like a watermelon. Are they red inside? I don't think we have those in NC, if we do they came about since I used to roam barefoot.
Thanks for the info.

Is the one on a post a target? OR a POST MELON? (smile)
Are those the ones that are just growing wild? I never heard them called a name...didn't know you could eat them, either. Cool!
Did you get a bird bath?
