How Can I Find Something That Isn't Lost

We had a nice rain, several inches. The old cowpokes will have a lot to talk about in the morning at the coffee shops. Me? I just slept through it. Friday I was having one of my good days so I ran lots of errands, one being getting a flu shot. Came home, cooked supper and washed dishes then it hit me. Nausea, chills and fever, headache. This morning a rash. I know flu shots are not a live virus, they don't make you sick anymore. If I'm alive next year I won't be taking one. It probably was a result of the steroids I take for the blood condition. Something didn't set well. I wanted to go to ER but felt too sick to get dressed and drive a few miles up there. I decided to go to the ranch with John, the first I had been out of the house since Friday. It was too wet to drive farther then the house so I walked out to the windmill to leave some rabbits pellets and some lettuce scraps. I know that little cotton tail watches and waits for me. I see it in the edge of the brush. Half way home John misses his glasses so we went back to search along the irrigation pipe and every place he remembered bending over. That's when his glasses fall out of his pocket. We looked and looked to no avail. They were home on the coffee table. When we got back to town we stopped at the hospital cafeteria to eat. When I went into the restroom I looked down to see a tick on my arm. It got flushed down and now I'm itchy all over and will be looking for ticks everywhere.

Funny how the glasses got home before you!!!

Yep, see a tick on you, you then know there must be one more hiding somewhere. I always enjoyed checking my girl for ticks. LOL

Take care....

Hope you feel better soon. It's no fun to be sick. I'd blame it on the shot too.

Gosh flu shots, blood conditions, and ticks. No wonder you are sick. I hope you are feeling better right now.

So I have a question - you take steroids for a blood condition - I did not know that - it sounds like what I might have. Is it vasculitis?

Anyway - please feel better and get well.

I hope you're feeling better. We haven't taken our flu shot this year. I'm not sure if I want to or not. Glad John found his glasses. That sound like something that has happened to me. Lol. Take care. Jean

I have had such adverse reactions to flue vaccines, I too stopped getting one.

Hope you're doing much better.

Goodness! I hope today is going better. I can't take flu shots because I'm allergic to eggs, but I do know some people who have had bad reactions. I hope your symptoms didn't last long.

I hope you're feeling better. I know what you mean about the tick ~ they have that same effect on me. You get one and it makes you itch and twitch all over.
