Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

Lunch Is Served
The rabbit and his/her companion actually watched me put out the pellets this afternoon. When I walked past the grain tank toward the little plate I had put the pellets on before I moved the feeding location because of the rain I scared one rabbit and then I saw there were two. They ran to the edge of the brush and stopped and watched for a minute then they ran into the brush. I think it is the rabbits eating the pellets and they sure are brave because the renters have several dogs in the yard and one tied outside the back yard and they all yelp a lot. The renters say the rabbits nibble on their garden and it is in their front yard.

the ones around here are bold, too. the little ones don't have good luck, but the adults seem to evade our 4 dogs quite well.
love the turtles in the header w/ you feeding them. :)
Well that is one animal I have not seen out here on the North Forty. I have often wondered why but figured it was all my cats.
Thanks honey for coming by and leaving me a sweet comment about my family. We are hanging in there.
Good luck with getting your new computer. I sure need one but like you not sure I will be able to learn all the issues with a new one.
Will be anxious to see how you manage it. lol

Now that you've seen them, I hope they don't get scared off.
I think rabbits are smarter Than we think. Any rabbit that can get under the hood of the car and stay there when the engine starts then eats part of the engine necessary only a part that was softer. Just about startled Joe out of his shoes.. Since that day Joe has raised the hood every day until the Hinges won't stay. He props it up with a snow brush.
No matter how old I get...I always get excited when I see a rabbit lol.
Alas, no rabbits around here, too many dogs. One brave one came through and then I never saw it again. I like bunnies and turtles. Nice header!
