Whoops

This cow seems to be saying I'm not sorry I tore into the hay with my horn but I'm sorry I got caught. The big hole near this spot where the future tenant intended to burn all the trash as he remodels the farm house was smoking this morning. The country boat that has been passed down from renter to renter is history. When it was first left there it didn't look too bad except it had a small leak in the bottom that needed to be fixed. As it was passed down kids had played in it and it was getting worse for the wear. The last time we saw it, it was loaded down with old paneling and ceiling tile and floor tile. Nothing left in the hole but some odds and ends of metal and old TV's and ashes. A few of the cows were making themselves at home in the yard where the fence had been taken down so the renter could carry the junk out easier. I had a fast glimpse of resident rabbit. I still put the rabbit pellets out and they still disappear. The turtles won't come out of their warm mud beds to eat. The cows are holding up well so far but John is about out of hay and it's hard to find plus very expensive. He plans (so he says) to ask around for someone to burn pear every other day and he would burn on the other day. Probably for January and February as the grass should start greening up in March or April depending on the rain.

Amazing the boat is now gone. I sorta liked its history. haha. As a kid I would have loved to have had that sucker.
Glad you got a quick view of the rabbit, and it is still around. Ain't it about time for some little rabbits?
I have seen too many gut a house then decide it is too much work. But since it will one day be his, I guess that it will get done.

Now what happens? John was renting the place, does he still get rent? Just curious.

Love from Florida!

Too bad you didn't see your turtles. I think that rabbit should have some family out and about too.

Someone city folk might be inspired to make a hat like the one your cow is sporting, lol....

It all depends on rain, doesn't it?!! Wish the grass would grow so they'd have something to eat, and would save money in the long run!!

Here's hoping for the drought to break this year in 2014. And of course, NOT flood.
