Sure We South Texans Know How To Make A Snowman

If we could get enough snow we could learn. No this picture wasn't taken today or yesterday. It was our last big snow in 1985. We thought it was a big snow. This is an apartment house a block from my house. We still have a chance I guess but not today. We aren't even freezing today. It's foggy every morning lately and a promise of rain tomorrow. Our coldest weather is usually in February when the big stock show is going on in San Antonio so the trail riders can really tough it with icy roads.

And our last 12 inches of snow was on December 24 2004...It rained all day here on and off. The ground got a good soaking but still not enough to get the creek flowing!

I like those funny Texas snowmen.
It's slowly starting to warm up here in west TX, but the wild wind has returned.

It's unusual for to get very much measurable snowfall... I kind of like it that way. :)
