Hummers Arrived A day Late
It's okay they are a day late. Maybe the wind slowed them down. You can bet Susie isn't out watching them. She and I both hate when the wind blows and ruffles our hair. For you that may not know Susie doesn't catch birds, she just watches them as if to say what fools. I don't work for my food. I just lay in a soft bed until someone brings it to me. Just got back from the grocery store to learn they have blocked off my favorite parking area there. They are building on and remodeling My HEB and keeping it open while they do it. Of course they aren't going to close and miss all that oilfield boom traffic. I'm such a creature of habit. When I go to Walmart or HEB I like to park on an end of the store so I don't have to search for my truck as much. Now I have to use my brain to remember which number row I parked on. Poor little calves are going to get their baby shots tomorrow. We think Number 12's baby is number seventeen. Jack the real cowboy will be at the ranch bright and early with his horse and trailer. We went to a visitation for a real cowboy who died last week. Lots of flowers combined with wire fence, boots and things that signified his life. His hat was near by and his daughter told me he was being buried with his boots on.
