Animals and Birds Catch on Quick

When we drove up to the pens this morning there were four very large buzzards perched on top of the old water tank where I feed Hopper under each morning that I go with John. They were brave evidently waiting for rabbit for breakfast but no Hopper in sight. I called and called but he wouldn't come out to eat. When I got close enough to threaten the birds they flew away. Still no rabbit, he wasn't taking any chances. I may have to change my feeding spot. I did get to feed one rabbit and take a video of it. It was near the farmhouse and I'm sure it knew it could hop under the house to safety at a moments notice. Sorry I don't know how to get the video to go here. The cows are grazing on green grass and don't have much time for us.

Wow sounds like those buzzards were most definitely hungry, but if they were true buzzards they only feed on carrion (dead animals). Were they hawks? Hawks will definitely prey on rabbits.

Hey Paula,, You all have some nasty critters in TX. I am working on this ding blasted computer and scared to death that windows 8 will wind up on it and I will get charged for it. My disks that came with it to put the program back in are obsolete except fore the first 2. I sure don't want to pay for anything on this computer cause it is so old.

Those nasty birds....scaring the cute one from coming out to be fed. Good thing, tho, that it IS scared and smart enough to know better.

Around Lake Okeechobee in Florida there are so many Buzzards it is scary.

Yes animals do catch on quick. Their life depends on NOT MAKING the one BIG mistake....

Love from North CArolina...

Putting up videos is tricky. Find the tab on your eblog choices and try different things..... eventually. :)

Buzzards are scary for sure. I don't blame Hopper for hiding. Better safe than sorry.
