Fishing Anyone?

Remember a few weeks ago when we got home from grocery shopping there was a large package of chicken thighs in our groceries. We didn't want them that particular day, we didn't put them in the cart, and we didn't pay for them. However we did have several meals from them as we had shopped that day in the next town over and didn't drive there to take them back. This morning when we got home from Walmart and was putting groceries away John says what's this? On closer inspection it was three cards of fishing hooks and leads. We don't even fish. They must have been in a bag by themselves and was overlooked and the checker just added some of our stuff thinking the bag was an empty one. Sometime it's hard to tell if you have every thing the way those bag racks are at Walmart. Oh well what goes around comes around as they say. Last week I bought a box of crackers to eat with chicken salad. What a disappointment when the crackers were missing when I put the groceries away.

That's one thing that I can't stand about Walmart. It seems ever single time I go something gets left out of my bags. I don't think I've ever had the bonus of finding something extra though!

i hate those turnstile bag things, too. i've left more items for the next customer than i've gotten in return, i'm afraid.

Ah-hah, yet another of the multitude of reasons I avoid shopping at WalMart.

Okay, now dig a few worms (do you have worms in Texas?) take them to the stock tank, and HOPE y9ou don't catch one of "Them Catfishes" you show! hahahahahahahaha

I have left full bags, but the clerk usually calls to me and because I am deaf, someone else will stop me. Once a lady followed me all the way to the parking lot trying to get my attention that I had left a bag.
I do appreciate the ones who watch after OLD FOLK! hahaha

I have never missed an item nor received an item that's not mine at our local Walmart (and I go to two Walmarts on a frequent basis). I sometimes am afraid I've missed something, but I guess our local cashiers have been especially trained not to make those mistakes. I've been here four years so I'd say that's pretty good odds!

God gave you fish instead!

It is so easy to miss something in those bags when you check out. Apparently Walmart's track record isn't too good about keeping track of things.

I've never had that happen at Walmart, but it happens constantly at our local Dollar General Store.

Hey, I like that photo of the grinning "cat fish".

Too many things to keep track of nowadays. I'm happy to locate my billfold and credit cards when I get home...:)

Some fisherman/woman was probably quite disappointed.

I'm beginning to think the employees at your WalMart need to be re-trained. lol

It's always something, so, for me, it evens out. I take the time to make a list and then leave it at home.

Angry all the way back from the store, I realize I've got some extras in the bag I didn't pay for.

The next time at the store, I told the manager what happened and offer to pay. He said it's a gift.

Happy, I get into the car and unloading same, I realize the potato salad I bought at the deli wasn't in my bag.

Each voyage is a challenge. Take advantage of it when the wind is at your back....
