Big Foot Wallace

William Alexander Anderson "Bigfoot" Wallace was a famous Texas Ranger who took part in many of the military conflicts of the Republic of Texas and the United States in the 1840's including the Mexican -American War.

Did you go inside, or is that for tomorrow? I wonder how different things would be if Texas was a separate country...

Maybe he will be featured in the new Texas Ranger Museum that will be across the street from us in Fredericksburg. I'll have to look him up!

Interesting fellow. If I figured right he lived to be 82, quite the long years for a man in his profession. It was interesting that when a prisoner in Mexico each prisoner drew from a bucket of white and black beans, the guys who drew the black beans were executed, BigFoot drew white.
Always loved stories about cowboys, especially the TExas RAngers.
