Lady Banksia

Not sure that is the correct spelling, but it is blooming pretty in my back yard. Does anyone know what the metal object is half hidden in the plant. You are looking at the back of it and it is very old.

Well, your plant is beautiful, and I feel like I should know the object that's under it, but for the life of me I can't think of it now. :(

I think the correct spelling is Lady Banksiae, but I have no idea what the metal object is.

Looks like the back of a chair of sorts.... an outdoor chair. I don't know. that bush is lovely. i've never seen or heard of one. The plants we get up in this cold climate are totally different and mostly quite commonplace.

I've also heard them called Lady Banks roses. I had yellow ones in Phoenix. The yellow variety doesn't have thorns which was good because it had to be trimmed often.
