Two Plus One

I found two eraser size tomatoes on my one bush and one fat tomato worm. Yes this is my garden. haven't had to water it much. The rains keep coming and living in Texas all my life I never complain about rain. Don't even care if it rains on The Battle Of Flowers parade tomorrow or The Flambeau parade Saturday night. Haven't been able to check on the mama hawk and probably her babies. May not want to after watching the news today. A lady has to wear a helmet after a hawk attacks her head every time she goes outside her house.

Pete and I don't have one single plant in the ground anywhere. Pete has felt to bad to be able to keep on up and there is no way I'd have time to. But we have friends and neighbors who are planting large gardens. Looking forward to sampling some of their goods!

That tomato plant of yours is really growing. Looks great. We have frost warning here tonight. People with plants outside will lose them. BEWARE of flying Hawks. You do not want to get attacked by one, especially if they are protecting babies.

We had problems with tomato worms one year in Alabama. I don't think I'm going to plant any veggies this year. Have a good weekend, Sheila

Rains are good....but flooding sucks!! LOL

I hate tomato worms, they're so ugly and creepy.

At least you have a tomato plant growing and producing a tomato. Ours are still sitting in peat pots. Re the sticky traps -- salad oil smeared over whatever is caught will release it if you have an unintended victim -- we saved a small snake that way.

Wow, tomatoes already! And it's not even May yet.

Me, I complain about rain. There has been a mudhole right at my front door and right at my car since December and I'm ready for it to dry up. My bottom has been flooded four or five times this year already. I saw two snakes yesterday. I'm sure they've come up from the bottom. I went down there the other day in a four-wheeler and there's water a foot deep at least 50 feet from the riverbank. Enough is enough!
