Personal Mystery

I've said before I don't consider myself nosy, just very curious, and I might add interested. I have passed a house in my neighborhood several times a week for years and something perks my interest in the back of this house. I have ask John about it but he claims to not know anything and doesn't seem interested. I do know the man who lived there died a few years ago and the house was never sold or rented out. However someone does keep every building on the lot painted white, even the cute gazebo in the front yard. The yard is mowed often enough and recently they seemed to be doing some major foundation work. The thing that puzzles me is why is there four white little houses in a row in the back. What were they used for, why did they have them there? Rentals, motels? I don't see how any one could sleep in them with no windows and no Air conditioning in the south Texas in summer. There are no pipes indicating a bathroom or vent for air. Storage? Why would anyone build four small buildings that look like small houses by the shape? Why not one larger building to store stuff in? I've thought smoke houses? Wouldn't that need to be vented? They don't look like smoke houses. They are neat little houses with no way to stand the heat we have. They look to be stucco, the roofs are all exactly alike and as I said no windows and I don't think there are any electric wires attached. Have any ideas? This is in a residential neighborhood so I don't want to trespass or stop and stare so I just look as much as I can as I pass.

Curiosity would kill me. Would have to check it out. Rather odd in deed.

no earthly idea.

That is truly a puzzle. As you said - if they have no windows, vents, or electricity they couldn't be used for people or animals, or even a smoke house.

My only guess would be for storage - - but why four of them?? I think it's good that you're curious and hopefully you can eventually solve the mystery.

Personally, I would make a story out of it in my head. Could really be a hum-dinger.
Could be they got a deal on storage buildings at one time ...
Maybe ask a neighbor - or watch for when someone comes to mow the lawn - and ask them. Will take guts.
Not exactly a good way to win friends and influence people though.

I don't seriously think they are anything sinister like disguised missile silos or storage racks for body parts.

Remember the poor cat ...

I would try google earth and fly over it to see if you get any more hints. Yep somethings do attract attention, the unknown is the worst of all.. LOL You are the detective: we B waiting. (smile)

I like this type entry you come up with from time to time...

Maybe it's time for dark clothing, the dark of night and a flashlight. :-D Take care, Sheila

Oh, my goodness, curiosity would get the better of me. Almost. I would love to know. I hope someday you find out and that I am here to read about it.
