Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

For Theresa's Good Fences on Thursday
I don't know who this place belongs to but I like it and the tree. We went to the ranch this morning just as soon as it was daylight. It was cool but was starting to get warm when we came home at nine. I had been saving all my pieces of veggies I cut off when I make a salad and some old carrots. Had quite a collection for the rabbits because I kept forgetting them. I dumped it all on a piece of tin where I see Cottontails hanging out. Hope they found it before some other animal did. It was dry enough that we could drive all over the ranch so it was a pleasant morning. We saw two deer cross in front of us and two exotic deer on the bankers property. One coyote or fox crossed another lane. The quail ran ahead of us in places the way they like to do. We haven't seen the wild turkeys in a while and never see the wild hogs anymore.

That tree and entrance is just crying out for a boy on a tire swing.
I was behind a whole semi hauling hogs earlier today. Sounds like you had a lovely day with nature and wildlife. Hope the bunnies found the veggies.
That looks like a good, sound fence. Nice Lone Star on the front. Glad y'all had a good outing.

I know you miss seeing the wild turkeys, but surely not the wild pigs/hogs.
I do like the shot of the fence under the tree limbs. Good one.
That would be fun to tag along for the wildlife you see.
Great fence in the background. I too like the biggo TX tree.
it's a pretty scene. thanks, paula!
A pretty scene! How nice to see all the wildlife. (except wild hogs - I'm glad to miss them!)
Lovely fence shot and sounds like a divine place ~
Happy Day, weekend and Happy 4th of July in the USA to you.
Texas has some great fences and country scenes. I just need to get out find them. You did good.
That is a great fence/gate & tree. Oh how fun to spot the different critters.
Hope the bunnies got the carrots too!
I love the fence. It's very special and I like to see fences out of other countries.
