This Way To My Blog

Not much to write about these days. Just got home from a week of chemo on Thursday. They already have me set up for another round in three weeks. Takes a while for the side effects to iron them selves out. John has had a trial with an eye infection on top of having macular degeneration so we're both just a bundle of old age problems. I try to read your blogs when I get a chance. I'm so behind with everything when I come home. Hope everyone is fine and happy.

Hang in there sweet lady I know what chemo can do to you. Grover had to take it for six months when he had colon cancer back in 1999. His treatment was a shot once a week the kind they put in the vain in his arm and it was like a slow shot and didn't take long for them to do it. Praying for you guys and hope you and John will be feeling much better soon.

It's extremely difficult going through chemo - - please take it easy and hang in there.

My mother had extreme macular degeneration, so I can sympathize with what John is having to deal with.
My thoughts are with you both.

Hi Paula, chemo - I cannot imagine what that feels like, you are one brave soul! I hope it helps you. The trials of old is is not what we signed up for - I wonder where the 'Golden' is in the Golden Years ... I'm on a blog break right now, I just had to stop by and tell you 'Hello.'
Hugs.

I'm glad that you check in on here, if it isn't too much trouble for you...just so we know how you are doing.
Be behind on everything, but don't miss out on the occasional pancakes :0.
Know that are thoughts are with you.

I just want to echo what Mary said. She has a way of saying 'something' in a very few words.
We were thinking of you and only know the effects of Chemo thru others. Of course no one brags about the treatments and side effects, but the success rate is worth the problems and misery my friends say.

Hang in there sweetheart, Love from over in Florida
