A Kttty Kaper

We feed the cats at the back door and also have the garbage can near so we can do our chores without getting dressed. The flies like this lazy habit of ours. Sometime one will zoom into the house when we open the door then the hunt is on with our trusty fly swatter. We decided to buy some of the long fly traps to hang by the back door. We realized we would have to hang them high enough for the cats not to jump for them thinking they were something to play with or food. My mistake was when I was putting the first one out the wind was blowing. Trying to control the door and the blowing fly trap somehow the trap was low enough for Princess to grab it. I didn't dare try to take it off her. I learned my lesson about putting my hand near her. She knows food comes out of that hand. The long trap was stuck and attached all around her body. She managed to lick and pick until she got most of it off but there is still some sticky trap attached to her fur. I guess it will wear off in time.

No good deed goes unpunished! Oh yeah, it will be gone from the fur in time. Sorta like a bad hair cut! LOL
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving. WE all ate out. The boys wanted to give mama a break.

Ouch. Princess will not have princess hair for a while. Cats are great at self-cleaning, but that one does present a challenge.

I hope you enjoyed your holiday company, but I hope now you get some rest.

I am thankful for the bloggers I have reconnected with:

Poor kitty. Hope she doesn't get sick from it.

Aww poor baby! Since we have a german shepherd, we use those lint rollers. Well Ms Thing decided to be nosy and get one of the strips out of the bathroom trash and it was not pretty, lol. I feel for you. Hope she rids of it soon with no damage.
