Texas Weather

I can't figure this south Texas weather. It's almost Thanksgiving and not a cold spell in sight. Not really even a cool spell. Some time I need a light sweater in a medical building but it's hot outside. We did have a cloudy day all day today so that was nice. I remember in the 50's at the first football game we needed a sweater or light jacket. It looks odd to see the winter clothes in the stores when we are wearing short sleeves and shorts. Well, I'm not wearing shorts, but I wish I could. It's not even worth it to buy the pretty winter clothes, which I like. Just wondering if the snow is coming as usual up north or is the weather crazy there too. It was 1985 when we had a real snow. At least real for us.

It's finally cooling off here. I think our area (Southern Middle TN) is just a little behind this year - maybe making up for winter and cold coming so early last year and the year before. I think further north some are getting snow and cold as usual for this time of year. We have La Nina playing with our weather again. Except for the fact that it hardly rains, I am kinda happy with it. I'm sure the big chill will get to you sooner or later, go ahead and buy something cozy. :)

Funny how us 'southern' folk notice 'WE HAD SNOW' and it is more a hazard than enjoyment to our northern friends.
My girl carries a sweater all year round, for things like 'your medical building'. Hope all is going well in the medical department.

Love from over here in Florida

It's still hot here to I seen on the Montgomery TV weather station where it was ninety degrees that day and it broke a record it hadn't been that hot on that day in 100 years. I'm enjoying this weather we seen enough rain this year, but it's getting dry. I think cold will get here it might be January. Lol. I hope you are feeling much better. Take care. Jean

It's still in the 60's here in TN and last night it got down to 39.
When I lived in Texas, I remember it snowing on two different Thanksgivings.

Enjoy the warm weather while you can!

I'm in New Jersey & so far, except for one cold week, temps have been unseasonably warm here too. Climate change?
