How Many Times Is This Women's Water Going To Break?

We stopped in front of a busy restaurant to eat on the way home from my treatments. As my daughter was trying to back out to leave a small car parked with barely enough room for her to leave. A man jumped out coming to stand beside my daughter's car. We thought he was going to pick someone up and was going to say he would be out of her way shortly. Wrong! He started talking so my daughter rolled her window down half way to hear the man say his wife's water broke and near my town. My daughter remembered seeing his picture on Facebook where he had pulled this same act on a woman a few months ago and she had snapped his picture and that of his license plate. My daughter told him you're a scammer and rolled her window up as fast as she could gently backing up so as not to hit his car. He looked very angry and was making some remark which we couldn't hear. Of course we know he was wanting money. Scammers are everywhere now days and not only at night. Be careful ladies.

Holy cow - hadn't heard about that particular scam. People are starting to make more and more leery of giving a helping hand anymore.

Yep a good scammer knows how to play to the crowd. Your daughter was smart to leave.

Wow! I've never heard of this scam before. It's a good thing your daughter saw his picture on Facebook.

Very good advice and it is good to pass this on. I am amazed at the number of pan handlers and scammers there are here in Florida. It is amazing how many folk have driven to Florida and need the money to get home.

it is hard to tell fiction from truth. :-(

I was asked for money for a "homeless" family to get a room for the night, so I offered to pay for the night at a local motel with my credit card. That wasn't good; I HAD to give her cash & she would do it. Uhm, no. There were times in the past I was easily taken in, but now I am more careful with my money, because I need to be.
Good that your daughter knew the situation right off the bat.
