Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

Thinking Of Ghost
Marlene over at One Day At A Time has an interesting entry about ghost, the telephone, and her Dad. I never believed in ghost and have never thought of them much but Marlene's entry reminded me of the female part of the renters in the farmhouse. Something came up about ghost and she told me they hear things in that old farmhouse and asked if we did when we lived there. I didn't dare tell her that the orginal owner died out by the diesel tank but I know his wife died at the nursing home or the hospital and to my knowledge no one has died in that house. I never heard a ghost out there but if it had been the male side of the renters I would have thought he heard something when he was drinking too much. John did read him the riot act over his grass being torn up from a four wheel drive pick-up. Renter guy blamed it on his buddies from work driving a company truck and the fact that he was drunk. Wow what a logical explanation!

I don't believe in ghosts but maybe you could convince renters there is one so they will move. lol.
Hugs, Joyce
I've seen some wierd stuff after my dad died it lasted 3 days.
I am not going to say that I don't believe in ghost. I have never seen one though. My DIL has a SIL who says a small boy lives in their house and takes the Christmas decorations out of her closet sometimes. She said she saw him once walk through her house. I am not going to say she didn't because she is a good Christian lady. Many many years ago a small boy was lost on the creek close to their house and was never found. She belives it is him.
That renter has an excuse for everything, just blame it on getting drunk LOL. Helen
I guess "ghost" is as good a word as any when it comes to strange happenings. I'll just say I've had a few "strange happeings". Have a great day, Paula :)
Well I believe in ghosts, when I was a kid we had a poltergeist we named it Duffy. He or she used to turn up the heat, turn things on and off, and call our names. For example I would think my mom was calling me and she wasn't and vice versa to everyone in the house. Then one time out downstair's neighbors husband who totally does not believe almost had a heart attack because he saw it appear, it was a child. Believe me or not....but I believe. Renter guy is a little bit of a dim wit I think.
lol My mom said they started hearing someone walking upstairs after my grandmother passed away. Then several years after that I had someone tell me that my Granny's house had been sold several time because people said it was haunted. lol Who knows?? lol Janie
We had a spirit in an old farmhouse we rented. She only appeared to men, and favored one of my sisters. There were rooms that would go extremely cold and noises. We later found out two things, a woman had been killed across the street coming from the house and they used to conduct occult gatherings at our home. The owners also participated in drugs. So, my mom asked our pastor to come pray over the house and we never had a problem after he did so.
tell them they're dead
and go to God
My oldest said she saw a long dark haired lady walking from our dining room down the hall to toward the laundry room and back around the table in the dining room. We built the house so it's not old, don't know about the land. But I would still have to see it to believe it. Her friends mom said being left handed was why she could see things...?! I've thought about setting up my digital camcorder but I don't know if I'd want to live here if I seen her...ha. Take care, Sheila
