Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

Oh The Games They Play
Susie (our old cat) begs at the front door. When we feed her she eats a little and saves a lot. Saves a lot for the old neighborhood tomcat. That cat has a clock in his system because it isn't long he appears to eat. Susie stretches out on the cement to watch. She must enjoy sharing the food we buy but let one of us step out the door and she is on her feet pretending to chase the tomcat away. He does pretend to be afraid and runs to the other side of the house so we can't see him. He is waiting for us to go back inside so he can finish his free meal. Mr. Tomcat gets his just desserts when he starts across the street to his home. There is a bird in the neighborhood that doesn't like him at all. The bird dive bombs the tomcat until he gets aggravated and takes cover under John's work truck. When he thinks its safe he runs for his house to sleep under the hedges until supper time when he comes back to eat Susie's food.

Is that bird a swallow? They love to divebomb cats.
Paula What a lovely story ~ Thanks for sharing it with us ~ Ally x
i'll send my cat to eat there also lol!
Cats are very strange animals. My four will hang out by the window and wait for neighborhood wanderer to meow at the window. They all look at him like he's nuts. Why give up the comfort of a perfectly good house for freedom??
That's funny!
Cute story. The ol Tomcat knows where to find a good meal and he's not about to stray far.

What a great story! I like Susie and her Tomcat friend.
Your cats sound like my Spunky, spoiled.
Sounds like Susie may be sweet on the tomcat..ha. Take care, Sheila
I enjoy watching cats and it tickles me to see how they react when the local nesting mocking birds dive bomb them. Then again, they dive bomb me too!
