Proof Of Snow In South Texas

After seeing all the blogger's beautiful snow pictures of their yards I just had to prove Mother Nature does include us once in a while. This is not the last snow we had which was in 1985. It was a few years before when my daughters were young enough to get out and make not one but four snow people. One to represent each member of our family. Don't laugh my girls had no experience with snow or making snow people so I think they did a pretty fair job considering it took most all the snow on one side of the yard.

Yeah, there's not even any snow left on the ground! They did great.

Want some more? I'd gladly send you the six plus inches we've got on the ground now.

Your girls did well just glad they had enough snow to make them with. Texas is like South Alabama it doesn't snow to often. Have a nice day.

I think they are great and I know they did. Yeah, us Southern folk must do with what we get.

As usual, good entry.

They did very good. Even cleaned up the ground also it would not be muddy. I would be more than happy to share some with you.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Love this post of yours. We had a snow fest (12 inches) in Victoria a few years back (I think it was Christmas 2004)...I think your girls did a great job with their snow family!

May all your snow only be enough to make a snowman!
Best,

Hey, it's the thought that counts, Paula. For a Miami boy, I'd say that was plenty of snow.

Love it! I think they did a great job. I bet they had a lot of fun that year too!! My niece in Ocala, Forida, had enough snow on the hood of her car last year to make one teeny, tiny little snowman.
