Which Season?

I wrote this in October, 1993 when it snowed in San Antonio. It didn't stick that year but it was unusual to get snow that early in south Texas when we rarely get it and certainly not that early. It's October now and not about to snow. More like summer but they are predicting rain for Sunday. Fingers crossed X.
Which Season? Pauline Lieck
Winter came in with whistles and howls. Pecans and leaves fell side by side like pals.
Snowflakes whirling, what a surprise, gaining momentum as they doubled in size.
Later the sun came on out as usual, a dreary day was Mother Nature's refusal.
It's beautiful out there on this October day, if it holds true to fashion the wind will lay.
Soon it will go back to our normal weather, the breeze will blow low and soft as a feather.
The sun will beat down, no snowflakes in range, but just wait a minute our weather will change.

I hope it rains. It is dry here but we are supposed to get rain today. Cool entry. You do have a way of making it unique. Take care Paula I would advise anyone with a pre-existing condition to stay where they are as far as insurance. If worse comes to worse I can go on straight medicare both A and B but if I can't get a supplement I will be putting a lot of money, which we don't have, out on doctors.
