Knock Knock Anybody Home?

John and I do and say silly things when we're riding around over the ranch checking to see if the cattle are all there and okay. We pass this deer blind going to the back forty. One day I told John to stop and let me see if anyone is home so he did. No one came to the door and if they had been there they would not have appreciated us interrupting their hunting. Hunting? How can they call it hunting sitting and waiting after feeding the wild game? Anyway last week as we passed John ask me if that ladder had always been there. Somebody's memory isn't so good anymore either. He did pass his stress test with flying colors. After admitting he was in pain that day from a young strong bull kicking him in the leg. Telling how black and blue it is and a knot plus swelling. The heart doctor wanted him to drop his pants so he could get a good look at it. John didn't want to with the nurse in the room but we all convinced him. He got lots of oohs and aahs and attention and they were surprised he could stay on that treadmill and pass so well with that condition and age.

Paula he should have kicked the
bull back. You have such an
interesting life on the range.
That reminds me of a song Home,
Home on the Range...Glad he did
go see the Dr. Men don't like to go
to the Dr. but sometime it is
necessary. Hope his leg get better.

Nice to check if anyone is home, Nah, hunters don't want company. I know you guys are used to the hunting and lease arrangements, but to us (used to be) hunters who are used to getting public land to hunt on, it is strange.

Take care and hope John is healing fast..

I'm glad John passed the stress test with flying colors. Hope his leg is a lot better. I don't understand either why most men hate going to the doctor. I saw a billboard once, coming back home from Alabama, that said thousands of men die each year from stubbornness. Hope you are having a great day, Sheila
