Don't let these little darlings fool you, they can grow up to be destructive. Watching John's sister the one with the brand high on her hip (joke) and brother-in-law wrap the meat of the two wild hogs she killed on her visit down here from Alaska made us think of our days trapping wild hogs. This is not a new picture, it is of three we trapped and the sow had babies while we were waiting for someone who wanted them for meat to come and pick them up. It came a hard rain and the sow dug a hole for the babies and I guess she tried to protect them. The hole filled with water and we were surprised to see they had all but one drowned. John's daughter took it to raise but as it got older it got meaner so she had to give it away to someone to butcher.
