Not Really
The weather men had us on edge all morning. Heavy rain, base ball size hail, lightening etc. We didn't even go to church because we thought according to the news we would be heading right in to it. The only thing right about their news was the time it was coming. A nice rain but not as much and as hard as predicted. We are thankful for the rain and no damage was done.

We didn't go anywhere this morning either due to the storms that were suppose to come. We got nothing, no storms and no rain! We could have used the rain!
I think sometimes the weathermen whip themselves into a frenzy with a small chance of bad weather. :-) It's nice that it didn't happen though ...
That was what I would call a nice let down! Just thankful they were wrong...that size hail would do a lot of damage.
We've been under every kind of alert all evening...but so far just rain. Bubba drove back to his job in Pecos today.

Glad you were safe and out of harms way with the storms that passed through.
It's great that you got some much-needed rain - without any damage or severe weather.
There was a severe storm with hail here in Tennessee a few nights ago.
FOR SURE, it is best to listen to the weather guessers, THEY B rite some time.
B Smart is a good rule!
Love from Florida where we definitely have the wind!
You just never know with the weather men.
Sometimes I think they throw darts at a weather map.
It's good to get rain. Wish we had some.
I used our recent rain to give my car a "frugal" car wash. Just Viva paper towels & a teeny bit of soap...& lots of natural rain. (oh, & a bit of elbow grease)
Glad it didn't turn out to be bad. They cancelled work for Thomas yesterday because it was supposed to rain all day long. We had a few sprinkles in the afternoon and then nothing.
I've oftentimes told Bud that he got into the wrong field of work...he could've been paid a 6 figure salary and be wrong all the time in his work and STILL get paid. Weatherman.
Good to read no damage. It hasn't rained here...send it here the next time, okay?
Stay safe and dry. :)
